    I won’t even pretend I like Tarkovsky. He’s great and everything, but it’s not for me. Too grim and depressive.

    P.S. And I didn’t like the Revenant either. Good and solid flick, but I don’t know… It wasn’t persuasive. It wasn’t heart-tearing. It wasn’t outstanding. I won’t re-watch it.

      I am glad someone else shares my opinion on “the Revenant”, minus DiCaprio and the true story, there is hardly anything left of the film. I think Inarritu has big trouble connecting with his audience through his films on a deeper, emotional level. It’s all very pretty, but watching his movies is like going to a museum for a day, and then forgetting all about it the next day. Hope you are doing good 🙂
