  1. I haven’t seen these all, but the ones I’ve seen are some of the best films around. Although it doesn’t stand to reason more made in the same genre would be as equally effective, but I agree they are generally great to watch.

  2. Meant to comment on your post earlier! I am so happy to see The Snake Pit and Girl, Interrupted on the list. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is such a classic as is Silence of the Lambs (Two out of three of the only movies to win the five major Academy Awards!). I have to check out Session 9, K-PAX, and House of Fools. Overall, there are so so many excellent movies that discuss/portray mental illness.
